Jerry's Dry Rub

Name: Jerry's Dry Rub
Ingredients: 1 cup paprika; 1 tbsp cayenne pepper; 3/4 cup fine black pepper; 2 cups granulated garlic; 1/2 cup onion powder; 1 cup fine kosher salt; 1/2 cup dried oregano; 1 cup dried thyme; 1/2 cup dried basil; 1 cup cumin; 1 cup turmeric; 2/3 cup poultry seasoning

A versatile dry rub blend for seasoning meats, vegetables, and more.

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until well-blended.
Transfer the dry rub mixture to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.
Apply the dry rub generously to vegetables, chicken, spare ribs, chops, fish, or any other desired items. Sprinkle or massage the rub onto the food.
For meats, refrigerate for up to 48 hours after applying the rub.
(Optional) Before applying the dry rub, sprinkle cracked black pepper, extra granulated garlic, coarse salt, thyme, and/or chili pepper flakes onto the food items.

Notes

Adjust the quantities of individual spices to suit your taste preferences.
Add other spices or herbs that you enjoy to customize the blend.
